Description: This policy sets out how we will fulfil our statutory duties and responsibilities for safeguarding within our organisation and across the local health economy.
This policy sets out the arrangements for safeguarding children and adults and applies to all staff employed, seconded, volunteering or contracted to work for the CCG. The safeguarding of children and adults is integral to commissioning, quality assurance, clinical governance, performance management and finance audit arrangements.
This policy will be implemented through the Governing Body and monitored through the Safeguarding Governance Group.
