Personalised Community Medication Management and Support Survey

We are fortunate to live in a time where many of us can expect to live into our 80s and beyond. This longevity, a positive testament to modern life, also brings with it a likelihood of encountering long-term health conditions such as diabetes, heart failure, respiratory diseases, or high blood pressure.

Managing these conditions often means incorporating a routine of medications into our daily lives. It’s crucial to adhere to the prescribed doses at the correct times to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment and to mitigate any potential side effects.

The task of managing medication is not a small one—it requires both physical and mental effort. Understanding the instructions, identifying the correct medication, negotiating the packaging, and ensuring the right dosage are all important in this process. We acknowledge that for some, these steps can be challenging.

This survey aims to help us understand the experiences of older people in managing their medication. Spearheaded by Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board, in collaboration with Age UK Bristol, Age UK Bath & North East Somerset and other partners, we are committed to making a positive difference.

We value your input immensely and would be grateful for your participation in this survey. Your insights are key to shaping solutions that truly meet the needs of our community.

Your responses will be anonymous and confidential, we are not collecting identifiable data in this survey. Responses will be stored and used in line with SurveyMonkey’s Privacy Notice and the ICB’s privacy policy.
