We want to enable as many people as possible to take up the flu vaccine. In order to do this, we need to understand why anyone chose not to have the vaccine or what reservations they had before having the vaccine. Are you over 50 or do you care for someone who is eligible for the vaccine? Then we need to hear from you. Eligible groups include anyone over 50, individuals in long-stay residential care, frontline health or social care staff, children up to 15 years old, people with respiratory, neurological, heart or liver conditions as well as people with a weakened immune system, a learning disability or a body mass index of 40 or above.
If you had your jab, we’d like to know why you decided to have it and find out what reservations you may have had, if any. If you, or the person you care for, did not have the vaccine, we need to understand the reasons why so that we can improve our services.
Please fill out this short survey – https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/FluVaccinationsYourViews – it will help us improve our services to ensure more vulnerable people in our community are vaccinated against flu this winter.
