The meeting will also be recorded and live streamed for remote viewing.

The Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Partnership meets every two months. The dates of the next two meetings are 15th September and 10th November.

Members of the public are welcome to attend Integrated Care Partnership meetings and listen to the discussions and observe the decision-making process. It’s important to note that although Integrated Care Partnership meetings are held in public, they are not ‘public meetings’ insofar as members of the public cannot contribute to discussion, however, are welcome to attend and observe. Members of the public can submit questions and statements in advance of the meeting.

The Leadership Team of the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) wants to ensure that membership of the ICP is representative of organisations that provide health and care services in BNSSG, as well as our citizens that are impacted by health and care provision. All NHS organisations, local authorities and Healthwatch have been invited to be members of the ICP, as have representatives of our six Locality Partnerships.

The ICP intends to engage eight members that broadly represent voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSE) that provide health, care or wellbeing services, or advocate on behalf of our citizens. They also want to have voices join them that are directly impacted by health and care provision, including people with lived experience of disability or long-term health conditions. The ICP is working with established VCSE sector networks in our area to consider how best to engage a representative group of people to join the ICP. The process to establish permanent, diverse membership will require a period of engagement across the health and care system. In the meantime, to ensure the sector and citizen advocates are represented on the ICP, Voscur, Voluntary Action North Somerset, Community and Voluntary Services South Gloucestershire and the VCSE Alliance (supporting the BNSSG Integrated Care Board) have been invited to attend the meeting on the 21 July 2022 while engagement strategies are developed.

Similarly, the ICP member representing all primary care services in BNSSG is still being considered. One Care/GP Collaborative Board have been invited to attend the meeting on the 21 July 2022 to ensure this sector is represented.

Further updates on VCSE and citizen engagement strategies and ICP membership will be shared when available.

Questions and statements

During the allocated agenda time, the Integrated Care Partnership chair will answer the public questions and deliver the public statements which have been submitted before the meeting. Please send questions to Bristol City Council. Questions should be succinct and relevant to general health, care and wellbeing. Please do not raise personal or individual issues as we will not be able to answer these in public forum. Questions and statements must be submitted 3 working days before the meeting. Statements, questions and their answer will be published on our website 1 working day before the meetings.

Unfortunately, at this time we will not be able to answer and publish questions submitted in time for the 21st July meeting, however, these will be published soon afterwards. Additional time will be dedicated at the September meeting for these questions.
