Accessible communications

As an NHS body, we are required to meet the Accessible Information Standard in full.

If you need any of our published information in another language or format (such as Easy Read, Braille, CD or audio tape) contact us.

When you book an appointment with your Dentist, GP or Optician, let them know about any difficulties you have with speaking or understanding English or if you require a British Sign Language interpreter. All healthcare providers in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire are able to provide the relevant interpretation services, either over the telephone or face-to-face. Please note that it might take a few days for a face-to-face interpreter to be available.
