This policy outlines the approach to be taken by Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) for the development, approval, and implementation of patient group directions for use by authorised healthcare professionals working in providers that are directly commissioned by the NHS and local authorities.
This Policy has been written to take into account the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence Good Practice Guidance on Patient Group Directions.
