Annual Review 2023 to 2024

About our organisation and area

Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board is a statutory NHS organisation that was established on 1 July 2022. We are responsible for developing plans to meet the health needs of our population, managing the NHS budget and arranging for the provision of health services in our area.

We aim to:

  • Improve outcomes in population health and healthcare
  • Tackle inequalities in outcome, experience and access
  • Enhance productivity and value for money
  • Help the NHS support broader social and economic development

Our Locality Partnerships work hand-in-hand with local people and voluntary and community sector partners to identify and tackle local priorities based on the needs of each community.

The six Locality Partnerships are:

  • South Gloucestershire
  • North and West Bristol
  • Inner City and East Bristol
  • South Bristol
  • Woodspring
  • Weston, Worle and Villages

We are part of the local Integrated Care System, known as Healthier Together. Through the partnership we work closely with other NHS organisations, local councils and the voluntary and community sector to help people to stay happy, healthy, and well for longer.

Facts about our area:
