Ruth has more than 30 years’ experience in the NHS in HR, operational and transformation roles.

She has worked in the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire health system since 2004, when she came to Bristol to join North Bristol NHS Trust as the clinical design lead for the new hospital. She then focused her work on primary care, in roles at Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) and Healthier Together.

For the past seven years, she has worked closely with colleagues at One Care and in wider general practice, most recently leading the mass vaccination support to practices.
