Homeless Health Service
The Homeless Health Service provides confidential healthcare, advice and support for homeless people in Bristol.
Run by BrisDoc Healthcare Services, the Homeless Health Service sees and treats homeless patients who visit the Compass Centre on Jamaica Street, Stokes Croft.
The service also has outreach teams who actively go out into the community to seek homeless patients who may need help, including providing ‘Wet Clinics’ at the wild goose Café in Easton and the One25 GP Clinic.
The Homeless Health Service runs SMART (Supervised Methadone and Resettlement Team) Clinics, for homeless people who are opiate dependent and have a history of sleeping rough.
The service also works with Second Step to provide Health Link workers, providing specialist advice and guidance for homeless people seeking health-related services.
