Change NHS: A health service fit for the future

NHS, local authority and voluntary sector staff are working harder than ever to get services back on track, to get waiting lists down and consistently deliver the best care.

We know change is needed. But we also know that many of the solutions we need are already here, working somewhere in the NHS today. In Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire we are already working hard to deliver change for our area and are supporting the NHS to tackle these challenges head on.

Since its launch in October 2024, Change NHS has heard from over 175,000 people nationwide, gathering their views, experiences and ideas to help shape a new 10 Year Health Plan for England.

Over 100 people from across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire attended our local events to share their views and ideas for improving the NHS. We have shared this feedback as part of the national consultation and will also use it to support the development of our local strategy.

Tell us your priorities for change

Change NHS is now asking for your priorities on some of the emerging ideas from the engagement so far.

They need to hear your views by 5pm on Monday, 14 April. After this, engagement and feedback activities will close as they finalise the development of the Plan.

Whether you have a little to say or a lot, your views, experiences, and ideas will help shape both immediate steps and long-term changes in the new 10-Year Health Plan for the NHS.
