Pilonidal Disease is a skin disorder usually found in the midline of the natal cleft. A ‘primary pit’ or opening forms in the midline into which loose hairs and debris enter to create an epithelial track (sinus) which may become infected. 

Laser hair removal for Pilonidal Disease is not routinely commissioned, as studies show similar results to other conservative treatment.
